So, I received lots of new colors this past weekend and am really excited. Not to mention, a 2nd sewing machine was purchased so that I can start mass production of these fantabulous nap mats.
NEW colors: Purple, Lime Green, Blue, Red, Yellow, Chocolate and Pink.
Checked out local competitor and I think you will find your little one will rest much more comfortably on
their personalized Minky Bebe Nap Mat. Oh yeah, besides monogramming, we also will design it for your little one. Customer service is a must with me, only the best.
Nap Mat prices will vary but email me at bittersweetadb@yahoo.com and let's design today. We can make it very affordable so that you don't break the bank AND if you're just looking for a cover that slips one, we do that as well. Price: $7/each

Sunday, July 25, 2010It's about that time of year again. Supply lists for schools have made their way to grocery/dept/ stores
and a swarm of new cool backpacks on wheels are in stock.
Parents- check your supply list, especially if you have to get a nap mat! I've got the ultimate cool for back to school. Taking orders now, just finished three today and another for Reid.
Note: Nap Mats are $6.99 at Target (which is cheaper than some others that I've seen)

MammaBia!: Seemed fitting.
Wednesday, March 17, 2010MammaBia! blog post: (unrelated to Minky Bebe/night off ;) )
Reid is sound asleep, I thought I would blog therapeutically(sp?) and just breathe. Lots on my mind.
So, I like quotes. Some are intriguing, confusing, bold and get me asking myself questions. I have always liked "be good or be good at it," an oldie but goodie. I like to think that the one I found tonight seemed fitting for the last couple of months that I have had. Certain people, situations and etc... have made me think and while I haven't ever said this to them or whatnot, I certainly thought it. But I think that the last part spoke to me the loudest- I think that at 26 despite my physique, lol I am strong enough to love love love myself 100%m good AND bad and I think that may bother those that are insecure. But I am me, like it.... no Love it or get over it. lol
Just thought I would share with you all.
“There comes a time when you have to stand up and shout:
This is me damn it! I look the way I look, think the way I think, feel the way I feel, love the way I love! I am a whole complex package. Take me... or leave me. Accept me - or walk away! Do not try to make me feel like less of a person, just because I don't fit your idea of who I should be and don't try to change me to fit your mold. If I need to change, I alone will make that decision.
When you are strong enough to love yourself 100%, good and bad - you will be amazed at the opportunities that life presents you.”

Goodnight.

Minky Bebe has it's FIRST customer!
Wednesday, March 10, 2010So, "Minky Bebe," has it's FIRST official customer!
Going to research the "perfect" fabric to make her little boy's Minky Bebe Nap Mat, so he can have the coolest nap mat in preschool.
FYI: The pictures below are of our "first" test run nap map. It has been redesigned to fit the "luxurious" :) needs for your toddler and convenience of -one-handed folding, for the "Mom on the go!"
Minky Bebe nap mats are customizable and can be made to fit your frugalista budget. Minky fabric is used on all of the mats, but due to price of the fabric, the more we use, the cost does vary.
Personalization is available for a tad extra as well.
Please Note: Because this is a handmade product (and we want to get it perfect) it may take awhile for the finished product, but we will approx. of how long.
THANKS to all of you for visiting the blog!
Have a blessed evening.

"Sew Much Fun!"
Tuesday, March 9, 2010After searching long and hard for Reid's nap mat for Day School in the Fall, me being the picky one, couldnt find the "perfect" one for my baby. -Longest Run-on sentence ever! LOL
So, we did what any other Mom would do..... Do it myself. Giggle.
And it was fun. I bought this fabric for a "test run," to see how it would go.

In the works.
Monday, March 1, 2010There simply are not enough hours in the day for all the things that I need to do. LOL
I've got all sorts of ideas running through my head, business ideas and what not.
My new venture, I am going to work out of my home, sewing and blog-shopping.
Stay tuned.....
As for my home life.... dishes are piled up and my fiance is buggin me at this moment, like he is in my face being obnox. LOL
So this weekend was amazing. The weather was about high 60s and the sun was out. So, we went to Corpus Christi. What?! Yea, and I hate that town, lol, but we took monster to the Zoo. "Monster," aka The Reidster, also know as Reid is fixing to be TWO years old in May. Time flies. He had a blast there and at the lil' playground. Which reminds me, I need to fix my backyard and get his playground up and running.
Like I said, not enough hours.
So, in summary- amazing weekend. So much so that we talked about moving there! What. Lol.
Anyhow, stay tuned for Mamma's lil' shoppe online. All my creative ideas will be put to work this year, dadgummit.
Til' tomorrow.

Idea Brewing.
Sunday, December 20, 2009So, today is Sunday and there are only what like 4 days or so til' Christmas. I probably should be doing my Christmas shopping but here I am cooking/playing with Reid and beginning a blog. Why begin on now?!
Well, my fiance, we will call "Bob," has told me at least a dozen times or so that I should write a children's book. I laugh cause that is probably the last thing I should write. If you know me, the only child I love or like to be around is my own, Reid Alexander, but that's cause he is the best son on Earth!
So, with that, I will blog my ideas and my life "The GoodLife." and let you all have a grand ol' giggle or just sulk in jealousy. Just kidding.
Either way, it will give me a chance to enhance my writing skills and maybe one day, I will leap towards a book of some sort or I'm thinking it'll be just purely theraputic for me.
Blog@cha' later, my casserole is probably burning.
